Our family Spring Break vacation to the condo was amazing!!!

Having all the bathrooms was very convenient and everything we needed, plus some, was provided. We stopped at the local store on the trip from the airport and stocked up the condo for the week. The place was very clean and the beds were super comfortable!!

This place is in a great location for getting to all of cool places on the island.

The food in the resort was excellent and Dave at the Pool Bar was very nice and gave us some great leads on where to go and places to see during our trip in addition to making some great drinks!! The beach was super laid back and the water was amazing!! Nancy made the visit to the condo very stress free with all of the instructions prior to the visit. IF YOU ARE PLANNING A TRIP TO ST. THOMAS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Not our first time at Elysian Beach, but by far the best!

Unlike others perhaps, we knew exactly what to expect from St. Thomas and surroundings, Red Hook, and Elysian Beach Resort having stayed several times as Wyndham timeshare owners. This time we brought a brood of 6 young adults (kids and girlfriends) with us. They all loved it!

Elysian is, we feel, the best as far as location, tranquility, amenities, convenience (2 restaurants on property), and impeccably manicured grounds. Nancy's Condos were among the best accommodations we have ever had anywhere, let alone on the island, what a wonderful spacious, clean, nicely furnished, well-equipped condo. We rented Nancy's “C” and ”E” units.

Found out about Nancy on our last (Wyndham) stay because her Wi-Fi networks are so powerful all over the property (you can only get Wyndham Wi-Fi if you are near the resort office). The other reviews you can read talk about activities, spots to visit, things to do, we definitely agree with, and some we'd add, for example, take advantage of the day (snorkel and BVI) trips offered at the activities hut on the beach right there at Elysian - they are tons of fun and with the "Elysian Guest" discount they are extremely reasonable.

Already trying to determine when we can make our next trip to "The Islands" and stay at Nancy's Condos!

Fabulous Condo

We just returned from a weeks stay at Nancy's condo at the Elysian Resort.

We had an absolutely fabulous time!

The condo was just as pictured, only better. The check in process was very easy since we already had the keys. The instructions given to us were thorough and we didn't need to call Nancy very often. It was comforting to know that all we had to do was give her a call if we needed anything. The condo was well stocked with all cooking utensils needed for cooking. The distance to the beach and pool was short. We were on the beach every day and in the pool in the evening. The restaurants and pool bar were very close and they were also great. We did venture into town to buy groceries. The taxi service to the resort from the airport was expensive, but it was well worth the money. I don't think we would have been able to navigate a rental car! None of us were experienced in driving on the opposite side of the road. The iguanas on the grounds were a pleasant surprise! This condo was well worth the money spent.

We definitely plan to return!

A great stay at the Elysian

We had a great time and will be back! Our group had two of Nancy's vacation rentals. Our unit was clean, well maintained and well furnished with wireless internet!. The ocean view from our unit was better than the pictures. The Elysian Beach Resort is one of the nicer resorts on the island. We had several meals and drinks at restaurants at the Elysian and all were great. It was a tough choice ... pool or beach? ... as both were excellent.

We also did a few day trips. Nancy’s choices of suggested activities were awesome. We did speargun fishing with Captain Rick of Swashbuckling Tours. Awesome time, it is not as challenging as it sounds, try it. We also went to St John by ferry with our car. The other trip was by boat to Jost Van Dyke. We chartered a boat through St. Thomas Boat rental. (We told them we were staying at Nancy's Vacation Rentals at the Elysian and they really took good care of us.) Our captain "Lindsey" was outstanding. The Soggy Dollar is the place to go. We also snorkeled at several stops along the way.

I would suggest a car although you can get around without one. We cooked in and ate out over the course of the trip. Red Hook is a short drive with many restaurants and bars. If you are near Meagan’s Bay, stop by Famous Delite (formerly Udder Delite) for adult-flavored milkshakes.

Can’t wait to go back again. Nancy has it all covered!

Had a fantastic stay at this Nancy's Condo at the Elysian Beach Resort! This is the place to stay!

The condo was well appointed, clean and fully functional with a great layout. The pricing was very reasonable and it was well worth it.  It is certainly one of the better resorts around with well maintained grounds, access to the beach, good food and a convenient pool. There are tons of things to do, and places to go if you choose to wander out and about.

There are some "must see" places to go while you are there such as the Soggy Dollar and Sydney's Peace and Love on the island of Jost Van Dyke. There was some very good snorkeling at multiple places with all kinds of interesting pelagic life such as spotted rays, turtles, octopus ... you name it. To get there, check out St Thomas Boat Rental for great transportation. (Tell them you are a guest at Nancy's Vacation Rentals at the Elysian.)
 
Try the out of the way restaurants and bars ....for a different twist on the traditional Dairy Queen, a good stop is a little ramshackle place called the Udder Delight at Magan's Bay for a milkshake with some island rum thrown in ... maybe even a couple of stops there are warranted.

A piece of home in heaven!

The condo was HUGE! the master bedrooms were beautifully appointed and each had a spacious balcony. The living room was very comfortable with it's own balcony where everyone congregated for morning coffee and cocktails in the afternoons. The kitchen was completely stocked and the wine rack was over-stocked with leftover bottles - just in CASE you might run out :)

The beach is beautiful with plenty of chaise lounges - as was the pool.

We ate at Sangria's a few times - the food was wonderful and it overlooks the beach and cowpet bay. The pool has a snack bar where you can get hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks.

The best part ... the location. Just minutes to Red hook with all the great dining and bars.

We got caught in a small hurricane and "hunkered down" that day, but had a blast. The condo was so comfortable we played all sorts of games and had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Nancy for her prompt communications and early warning for the hurricane.

We'd go back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I chose Nancy's condo [vacation rental] and the Elysian Resort based strictly on the reviews. We only knew we wanted to spend our vacation in the USVI, but were not sure of what area would be best for us. This was our first experience ever booking through VRBO, so we were a bit skeptical. I am not even sure where to begin - there are so many positives. We spent a very full day to get there and did not arrive at the condo until nearly midnight. We asked Nancy if it could be arranged for there to be cold beer in the fridge, so when we got there we could unwind after a long day of travel. She arranged with the cleaning lady to do that for us and we just reimbursed her. We spent 3 glorious weeks in this unit and cannot complain about one thing! It was clean, it was in a perfect location in the complex, it had everything you needed in the kitchen, and we were very comfortable for the whole time. We had friends join us for a week part way through, and we never felt crowded at all. Both couples had their own space when they wanted it. The resort itself is also amazing - from the pool, to the beach bar, to Sangria's and the Caribbean Fish Market. We booked a few tours through the beach shack which were great fun as well. We enjoyed all the staff that we met at the beach bar and the restaurants and had lots of laughs with them. They were all a great bunch! The location of this resort is excellent, although you will need a car or a taxi to go buy groceries, go into Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie. Taxi's are not cheap however it beat driving on the wrong side of the road! There was just about always a taxi available at the resort if we needed to get somewhere, but if there wasn't we would just go into the office and they called one for us. We never had to wait more than about 5 minutes for one to arrive. The only complaint I have, is that our vacation had to end and we had to return to the "Polar Vortex." We would be back there in a heartbeat if we could be. We have had many vacations in the Caribbean, and we feel this one is right up there with being one of the best! Thank you Nancy for sharing your condo with us and making this whole experience one we will never forget. Should we ever get back to the Virgin Islands, there will be no question where we will be staying!!
