We just returned from staying at Nancy's Vacation Rentals - 4 adults and one 9 month old baby - this was just the nicest place we have stayed in a long time. The place was super clean and modern. The beds were super comfy. The balcony on each level was great - we didn't cook at all but really wanted to eat at the top level balcony. We only stayed for 3 nights but I wished it could have been longer. We will definitely go back and stay at Nancy's Vacation Rentals again. One little thing I missed was having a throw in the living room to put on at night when it was chilly - minor point.  The price was great for such an awesome place.

 Right from the start, we had an incredible experience. Working with Nancy was so easy. She was very friendly and knew just the right questions to ask us. The vacation rental itself was perfect. From the furniture to the appliances and all the appointments everything was just perfect. The resort was also awesome. Not too big and not too small. The beach was great. Just the right size with plenty of chairs and lounges. The bar and restaurant were a pleasant surprise with rum punch flowing. The pool was really great and the shape made my children very happy. The proximity to Red hook was really nice and the restaurants and shops were reminiscent of what you would see in a movie. St Thomas in general was perfect with plenty to see and shops galore. Taking the ferry to St. Johns was pretty neat. We took a car ferry which allowed us to explore the island with ease. I would whole heartedly recommend going with Nancy and staying at the Elysian. Don't even hesitate. You will not regret it. P.S. we love Nancy!

Our experience was nothing short of fantastic! I knew that the pictures looked good, but when we arrived it looked even better. The condo was very spacious and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there; cookware, coffee maker, blender...all we needed was to buy some food and we were set to go for the week (beware; groceries are expensive in St. Thomas). The beach was fabulous, the views were fabulous, the island was amazing, everything was great! Super-great!! Communication prior to our arrival was outstanding too. If we ever get back to St Thomas - and I hope we do - we will definitely book with Nancy's Condos again. Our experience was simply fantastic!!!

We enjoyed Nancy's vacation rental, very comfortable tropical theme furnishings and comfy beds. We saved money cooking large breakfast and cooking several meals. I suggest bringing extra spices from home. One can also pay $50 dollar more in luggage to stock it with snacks and food, it saves money if you have teens and little people to feed. I suggest renting a car to drive self around the island. You can also save money by shopping for food at Cost U Less and liquor from Kmart. Food Center is very pricey for grocery shopping, especially if you are cooking for a family. The private balcony provided spectacular views of Cowpet Bay Beach. I agree with the previous reviews of places to eat and visit, the Elysian Beach Resort and all the accommodation of its private beach, pool and water equipment to rent. If you get the chance to charter a boat visit the various British Virgin Islands and have a drink at Foxy's, Soggy dollar bar and Willy T. Also visit St. John and Trunk Bay, gorgeous beach, and enjoyed eating, drinking colada banana and fruity daiquiris at High Tide restaurant. Do bring own snorkeling set it will save money, water shoes, beach towels, plenty of sunscreen and bug spray. Also we enjoyed the zip-line experience and its view of the ocean. We had great time at the local bars, Amigos Dockside Cantina for huge margaritas, karaoke on Thursday night 8-11p at Iggies Beach Bar & Grill (good food and drinks too). The Island life is relaxing. We enjoyed every minute and hope to visit again. Nancy was fair, honest, no gimmicks and her condo is a great value if you want comfort away from home.

We just returned from St. Thomas, and we loved our stay at this condo. Nancy was very easy to work with and had many helpful suggestions. My family loved the resort and the condo. Anyone traveling to St. Thomas should definitely stay at the Elysian. It is so close to Red Hook and easy to catch the ferry over to St. John. A must do. You can also schedule a snorkel trip from the Elysian that is excellent. The best vacation ever!!!

We had a great time on our week long St. Thomas vacation. We stayed in the B Unit and had 5 adults and a 1 year old. The unit was a nice size for all of us. It felt very spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked and we ate most meals there. A grocery store is located about 5 minutes from the condo. The pool and hot tub were great. The beach looked good too, but we actually never went to it! We had a car so we went to Magen's Bay and Trunk's Bay (St. John) instead. Both beaches were awesome! Both restaurants onsite are good. The condo is about 5 minutes to Red Hook. The condo is quite, no issues with noise. Nancy was very easy to work with and truly seems to care about your vacation. We would stay here again!

This condo was immaculate! It had everything you could need and more! Great views from the 3 balconies, wonderful kitchen fully supplied with cookware, dishes, glasses, dishwasher. The washer and dryer were very helpful. The grounds were beautiful, beach was fantastic, pool was great! Location couldn't have been better. Can't wait to go back! Great for families and young children.

My husband and I have been to St. Thomas eight times but this time, our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren went with us. The unit was a perfect match for our group. The pool is wonderful and the kids spent as much time there as at the beach. Having a washer and dryer and a dishwasher made our life so much easier. Nancy is great to work with. Our son lives on St. Thomas and said the condo set-up is one of the best he has seen on island for a family. The rates are fair and the unit is clean and well furnished. One thing to be aware of, there is no soap provided in the bathrooms so bring a couple of bars. We were lucky that previous occupants had left some squirt bottles of hand soap. The management and staff were great also. We would absolutely book this again for our family.

Not only is this location the best on the island, but this condo is awesome. We used the two levels, spacious accomodations, great decks with views and all the amenities. We also loved the flexibility of renting a condo, having a car and doing what we wanted, when we wanted. Save a little money on breakfasts and lunches and splurge on dinner. Great beach, snorkeling, pool, hot tub, exercise equipment and close to lots of bars and restaurants. We've been to St. Thomas about 15 times and I would put this location at the top of our list!!!

Nancy's condo was an AWESOME place for us to use on our first time visit to St. Thomas. It looked exactly as the pictures showed. No Surprises! It comfortably accomidated 5 adults and 1 toddler. We stay in the condo 7 days / 6 nights. The onsite restaurants offered good food. And we were close enough to Red Hook to take a short drive for other options and use the ferry. Even though we visited other beaches, Cowpet Bay (the Elysian's private beach) was the best. Nancy was gracious enough to provide "starter" supplies in the condo. Plus past tenents (us included) left behind items for the next family to use. My family and I can't wait to come back.

We have stayed at many condo's on St. Thomas and this was by far the most wonderful. The condo itself is beautifully furnished, the kitchen well-equipped and the views of the beach and surrounding area were good. This condo had a washer/dryer and this was a huge plus as we swam, snorkeled and did a day of diving so always had wet towels and bathing suits. The beach and swimming pool were fabulous and having a few bars and restaurants right there was also a plus. Lastly, we kept the front door to the condo open with the screen across and opened the deck doors in the main living area and the breeze was magnificent. We never turned on the air-conditioning the entire time we were there. Having that wonderful breeze was very soothing and relaxing. I highly recommend this condo and we will definitely be staying here again.

We had the most wonderful stay at your beautiful condo!. It was such an accommodating Home Away from Home. The condo was beautifully decorated and furnished with everything needed to provide for a most enjoyable vacation. The beds were so comfortable and the view & location was just perfect. We really enjoyed having 3 bathrooms and the 2 large bedrooms!!! Having a washer and dryer in the condo unit was also a plus!!!! We went on a snorkeling adventure with "New Horizons"(sailing) and we had a blast. The crew couldn't have been kinder & the food was delicious!!! The snorkeling was awesome. We also went to "Mountain Top" restaurant and the view was absolutely phenomenal. We took the ferry across to St John and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ate in Red Hook a couple of nights. We enjoyed beaching it at the Elysian & eating at Sangrias. Loved the pool & renting the water toys. Saw many HUGE turtles off our beach. Thank you Nancy for the opportunity to enjoy your beautiful place. It was magnificent. A big P.S. We had an opportunity to see other resorts and other than the Ritz Carlton, which is out of our price range, the Elysian was one of the nicest resorts on the island!!!!!! We visited Sapphire Beach & other resorts (Bolongo) and the Elysian is by far the nicest, cleanest, accommodating & the kindest people at your beach hut helping with adventures & water toys. Thank you so much.

Family of four - with twin 12-year-olds - stayed here a week and wow - it was everything we needed and more than we expected. The place itself is gorgeous - clean is important - so I'll mention that up front. Beds were really comfy too. The washer/dryer in the unit is really great - helped us minimize packing - and it's REALLY quiet so you can run the machines at night without fear of waking sleeping folks. The drinking water on the island is really good too - no need for bottles. But if you want a soda (on its own or to use as a mixer :) there's a soda machine just a hop from the unit that is $1.25 for an ice-cold 20-oz bottle - and the machine takes credit cards! Water pressure in the showers is great. The pool and beach are both pristine - both very well-cared for. Sam the bartender at the beach bar is lovely - and makes killer grown-up cocktails and kiddo smoothies - our daughter tried multiple strawberry/mango smoothies during our week around St. Thomas and St. John, but swore Sam's were the best. If you are runner - beware - there are LOTS of hills :) !! We never turned on the TVs - but there are great flatscreens everywhere. WiFi was super-reliable in the unit. A big bin of pool/beach toys for the condo was VERY appreciated by our kids! The resort management is super - they helped immensely in the amazing return of my husband's wallet - lost in the ocean and found (completely intact!) by a local snorkeler. Nancy (the owner) is a superb communicator - and even called us when we let her know about the lost wallet - she's great! I'd book this unit again in a heartbeat - and we fully intend to do so. Note also - you get a very safe vibe in the resort. We have stayed many places in many countries and know when we've got to be "on guard" and we never had that worry here. Sorry that my review is all over the place - but there are so many high points - and no low points - I could go on forever. However I would HIGHLY recommend renting a car.

We enjoyed our vacation to St. Thomas very much. The condo suited all 7 of us very well!! We could not of asked for more room. Having 3 bathrooms was just perfect, especially having 5 females in our group. We loved sitting on the balcony and we even decided to cook dinner in several times because the kitchen was so clean and spacious. The pool was very nice even though we spent most days at the beach. We loved the beaches on St. John the most! We highly recommend renting a car in St. Thomas as we almost did not, and would have been very sorry!!! As a matter of fact we took the car ferry over to St. John 3 times. It was so nice being able to catch the ferries in Redhook which was only minutes away. Last but not least, the Restaurant The Caribbean Fish Market at the Elysian was our favorite! The waiter Mr. Big Life was really a Big hit with us all! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this B-unit condo. It was so spacious and comfortable, perfect for our warm spring break vacation. The pictures perfectly represent the beautiful setting and features of the condo. The fully-equipped kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer made our lives much easier. We spent our first day swimming in Cowpet Bay's gorgeous, clear water. Sam, at the poolside bar made great dining recommendations. The condo's 3 balconies overlook the bay, a restaurant and the pool. The only downside was the noise coming from the pool from midnight to 2am. The walk to the beach, pool and dining was very short. We are planning a return visit for next year!

These condos are modern,clean, on a great private beach

You can't go wrong staying at Cowpet Bay and the Elysian is beautiful and private. Nancy has bought 3 room entire floors and turned them into villas with 2 bedrooms and a great room with full kitchen. It actually cost us less to pay airfare from Washington DC for 6 adults and rent this unit than it costs to rent a large oceanfront at Nags Head NC, and this place doesn't have jellyfish. We absolutely will return.

Spacious, convenient location

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children ages 10 and 6) stayed in this condo following 4 days on a catamaran cruising the BVI's. After living in such cramped quarters (with 6 of my in-laws) it was so great to move into such a spacious condo! We did a lot of cooking in, and the kitchen had everything we needed. My kids enjoyed the board games and the resort's resident cats and iguanas! The resort is very conveniently located to Red Hook, so only a 15-minute ferry ride over to St. John. I very much liked the "small town" feel of this side of the island, compared with the bustle of Charlotte amalie. Snorkeling was quite good right off the Elysian beach, and the concierge was able to recommend several other good places nearby. Food and service at the beach bar were great too!

Paradise Found at the Elysian

Bravo to the owners of our beachfront condo at the Elysian! The condo was spacious, clean and very affordable. I traveled with six young adults to attend a wedding at the nearby Ritz Carlton. Walking to the larger Ritz Carlton's beach (all beaches are open to the public on St. Thomas) was just a 2 minute affair. It was one of the best trips of my life largely due to our stay at this lovely condo. Waking up to see Caribbean blue from my balcony lifted me from the doldrums of the winter. The supporting staff were gracious and always helpful. There are 2 restaurants on the premises, both offering delicious fare. LOVED the *Z* cocktails at the poolside bar. Being on a tight budget, it was wonderful having a fully equipped kitchen to make a few easy meals in. In addition, the Elysian is very close to Red Hook, where we enjoyed several evenings out on the town. I hope to make visiting the Elysian a tradition in our family. My thanks to the owners, who have offered their home to we winter-weary travelers!

We just got back yesterday from a one-week stay at Nancy's unit #238465. The kitchen was very modern with all updated appliances and every utensil you could possibly need. Beds were comfortable, the property quiet at night. The upstairs was even cool enough to not have the air on at night and we slept comfortably. The air conditioning and washer and dryer were high efficiency (QUIET). Pool towels for exchange every day was nice and simple -- as we did a couple all day excursions. Simply pickup new towels when the office opens and you're set for the day.

This was our first time in St. Thomas and we could not have been happier with the condo or Elysian Beach. The condo was very clean with anything you would need supplied in the kitchen. Pictures very accurate. Everything went so smoothly from signing the contract to getting our keys. The beach is very private. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation.

We just return from St Thomas and Nancy's lovely condo. We traveled with our three grown children, son-in-law, and 2 young grandchildren.

The condo was spotless, well-maintained, and its location within the resort property was ideal. We had plenty of room for all to gather together, yet also maintain some sense of privacy within the unit. We loved the 3 large balconies...The Elysian's small beach was very quiet and relaxing and there was always plenty available seating, both in the sun and shade.

We traveled to Magen's Bay and took the car ferry to St. John (Trunk Bay), which we would recommend highly. The only thing we felt that was missing from the condo was a couple of beach chairs that we could have used at both of the beaches we visited. But again, the condo was very well equipped - sand toys for the kids, even sun tan lotion!!

Nancy was great to work with and answered all our pre-trip questions. Her restaurant recommendations, info on grocery store locations and advice on car rentals was very helpful.

We would highly recommend Nancy's condo to all...we had a wonderful trip!

Already saving for a return trip!!!!!

Condos is everything we expected and more. Clean, spacious, and well appointed. All necessary equipment required for a week stay. Everything was in working order, newly updated and clean. Nancy and Chris were great hosts and actually stopped by during our visit, very nice meeting both of you. I have stayed at several condos from this website and this was by far the cleanest, nicest condo yet. Buildings and grounds are very well maintained, beach was clean, raked every morning. Cowpet was a great quiet location close enough to Red Hook and Far enough away from Charlotte Amalie.

The pictures are exactly how the condo looks!  Everything went just as we were told by Nancy and the condo was clean and well kept.  Five of us went for a week and we all would go back again and stay here. LOVED IT!!  We recommend renting a vehicle to get around and can honestly say driving on the left side is not that difficult.  On Sunday morning at the beach hut they serve snacks and drinks and explain the different island tours that are available.  We signed up for three and they were more than worth the cost.  The day trip to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) on the Breakaway was the bomb!! It's highly recommended.

Our family two adults and two twenty year old boys stayed at Nancy's place in Elysian Beach. We had a great time and the condo was perfect for us. There was so much room, much better than staying in a cramped hotel. The bathrooms need an updating but the rest of the condo is in very good condition. The beach was nice, however the view was slightly obstructed by boats docked beyond the swimming area. Beach and sand chairs were always available. My suggestion is to rent a jeep (roads are narrow and steep)and bring a gps. We booked a boat trip from the hut on the beach at the condo. Gina was so helpful and we had so much fun. We also went on a great scuba diving trip which was booked at Secret Harbour beach. Overall a fantastic vacation. Thanks Nancy!!!

Perfect Place for a Family

We had a wonderful time in St.Thomas staying at Nancy's condo at the Elysian Beach resort! She was so easy to work with and provided lots of useful information about the surrounding areas before we got there. When we arrived, the condo was very clean and the essentials were provided to get you started. Even though it rained a few days while we were there, we were so grateful to have all the space! The kids had their own little haven up in the loft and the master bedroom was huge too! There was plenty of room for everyone and everything. We enjoyed dinner out on the upper deck and many meals on the lower deck. The view was beautiful!! We all enjoyed the pool and all the amenities that come with staying at a resort too. We had a great time!

Had a great stay, the place was large and roomy with a beautiful view. It had all the little touches that made it a perfect stay. Would absolutely rent and recommend this to others.

Great Condo

We have stayed in Nancy's C-unit condo for 9 days and really loved this place. The view is awesome, both from the bedroom and the living room. The rooms are large and tastefully furnished, the bed is comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, TV and Internet all work fine. AC units are upgraded so they are efficient and quiet, unlike most others at the Elysian. In a word, all the comforts of home transported to a beautiful Caribbean beach. The location is great as well – only a few minutes drive to Red Hook and only a couple of steps to Ritz. Caribbean Fish Market, which opened in Jan 2012, is located right at the Elysian and is a great option for dinner. The chef serves innovative fish and seafood dishes using mostly local ingredients. Texas Pit Barbeque in Red Hook is another great choice. And, of course, you can book a fishing charter and cook your own catch, like we did for a couple dinners. Nancy is great to work with – she provides clear instructions and is very responsive to questions, making the logistics easy.
