Had a fantastic stay at this Nancy's Condo at the Elysian Beach Resort! This is the place to stay!

The condo was well appointed, clean and fully functional with a great layout. The pricing was very reasonable and it was well worth it.  It is certainly one of the better resorts around with well maintained grounds, access to the beach, good food and a convenient pool. There are tons of things to do, and places to go if you choose to wander out and about.

There are some "must see" places to go while you are there such as the Soggy Dollar and Sydney's Peace and Love on the island of Jost Van Dyke. There was some very good snorkeling at multiple places with all kinds of interesting pelagic life such as spotted rays, turtles, octopus ... you name it. To get there, check out St Thomas Boat Rental for great transportation. (Tell them you are a guest at Nancy's Vacation Rentals at the Elysian.)
 
Try the out of the way restaurants and bars ....for a different twist on the traditional Dairy Queen, a good stop is a little ramshackle place called the Udder Delight at Magan's Bay for a milkshake with some island rum thrown in ... maybe even a couple of stops there are warranted.

The condo was HUGE! the master bedrooms were beautifully appointed and each had a spacious balcony. The living room was very comfortable with it's own balcony where everyone congregated for morning coffee and cocktails in the afternoons. The kitchen was completely stocked and the wine rack was over-stocked with leftover bottles - just in CASE you might run out :)

The beach is beautiful with plenty of chaise lounges - as was the pool.

We ate at Sangria's a few times - the food was wonderful and it overlooks the beach and cowpet bay. The pool has a snack bar where you can get hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks.

The best part ... the location. Just minutes to Red hook with all the great dining and bars.

We got caught in a small hurricane and "hunkered down" that day, but had a blast. The condo was so comfortable we played all sorts of games and had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Nancy for her prompt communications and early warning for the hurricane.

We'd go back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I chose Nancy's condo [vacation rental] and the Elysian Resort based strictly on the reviews. We only knew we wanted to spend our vacation in the USVI, but were not sure of what area would be best for us. This was our first experience ever booking through VRBO, so we were a bit skeptical. I am not even sure where to begin - there are so many positives. We spent a very full day to get there and did not arrive at the condo until nearly midnight. We asked Nancy if it could be arranged for there to be cold beer in the fridge, so when we got there we could unwind after a long day of travel. She arranged with the cleaning lady to do that for us and we just reimbursed her. We spent 3 glorious weeks in this unit and cannot complain about one thing! It was clean, it was in a perfect location in the complex, it had everything you needed in the kitchen, and we were very comfortable for the whole time. We had friends join us for a week part way through, and we never felt crowded at all. Both couples had their own space when they wanted it. The resort itself is also amazing - from the pool, to the beach bar, to Sangria's and the Caribbean Fish Market. We booked a few tours through the beach shack which were great fun as well. We enjoyed all the staff that we met at the beach bar and the restaurants and had lots of laughs with them. They were all a great bunch! The location of this resort is excellent, although you will need a car or a taxi to go buy groceries, go into Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie. Taxi's are not cheap however it beat driving on the wrong side of the road! There was just about always a taxi available at the resort if we needed to get somewhere, but if there wasn't we would just go into the office and they called one for us. We never had to wait more than about 5 minutes for one to arrive. The only complaint I have, is that our vacation had to end and we had to return to the "Polar Vortex." We would be back there in a heartbeat if we could be. We have had many vacations in the Caribbean, and we feel this one is right up there with being one of the best! Thank you Nancy for sharing your condo with us and making this whole experience one we will never forget. Should we ever get back to the Virgin Islands, there will be no question where we will be staying!!

This is our second year staying in the B-unit with our college age children on spring break. We considered staying somewhere on St. John, but after having such a positive experience with Nancy last year, we really could not resist another visit to her Cowpet Bay condo [vacation rental]. The newly renovated bathrooms are beautiful. The Elysian pool, hot tub, beach and restaurants made our visit even more relaxing - just a few steps to entertainment. Restaurants, shops and the ferry in Red Hook are 5 minutes away, making this an ideal location for our family.

My friends and I stayed at Elysian Beach in Nancy's condo [vacation rental] E building and It was beautiful. It was big and roomy and very comfortable. The balconies were perfect places to spend a morning with coffee or an afternoon with wine and a snack! We truly enjoyed the restaurants at Elysian, Sangrias and the Fish Market were exceptional! We did take the ferry over to St John and just wished we had more time to enjoy all there is to do in the BVI. We rented a car and driving on the left, narrow roads was challenging but luckily the condo was so beautiful we didn't mind staying on the grounds most of the trip. Nancy was great to work with and having Wi-Fi everywhere, even on the beach was great. We would definitely go back to the Elysian.

We stayed at Nancy's condo [vacation rental] for a 4 day weekend and we had a fantastic stay. The accommodations were great and fit our needs. We were able to wake up and walk down to the beach and enjoy the sun. The pool and hot tub were also great for getting in some relaxation. The restaurants at the site were convenient and tasty as well. Nancy had everything set up perfectly so there were no issues logistically, all we had to do was show up.

Our stay at this condo [vacation rental] couldn't have been better! We travel to St Thomas several times a year and enjoy staying in a variety of homes, condos and resorts on the island. This condo is truly one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. So beautifully decorated and clean, clean, clean! We would not hesitate to rent this condo again. Our only regret was having to come home after just one week.

The pictures on the website of this island gem are most inviting. They don't do it justice, though, because the real thing is better. Immaculately clean, well appointed, and so well equipped, this condo [vacation rental] is the perfect home base for a great island excursion. Pool and beach are great. The restaurants compliment each other and take the pressure off if you don't want to drive after a cocktail. Very upscale and excellent quality, actually surprisingly good food at the Caribbean Fish Market. Many breakfast meals, lunch, and dinners at The Beach Side Bistro. Just a solid place with airy outside venue. Good location to explore the East side of island and St. John. The decks off the condo were great and a great place to enjoy dinner under the stars. We enjoyed an evening meal of fresh fish obtained that day in Red Hook. We traveled with our adult children and were delighted with the privacy that we each had. Will definitely come back.

My husband & I and another couple just recently stayed in this magnificent condo! The condo [vacation rental] description is right-on! The photos do not do it justice. It is beautiful and the view from every balcony is a Kodak moment! It was extremely clean! My sister in law is an excellent cook & the kitchen had everything she needed. Nancy was very helpful in answering any questions we had! We would most definitely rent this condo again and would recommend it to anyone considering renting this condo. We ate at the Caribbean Fish Market on our last night there and it was awesome! We also enjoyed the pool, the beach, and just walking the grounds of the property. Be sure to rent a car & take the ferry to St. John; well worth the trip. Took Nancy's advice & rented a boat from St. Thomas Boat Rentals with Captain Roy. He took us to the British Virgin Islands; another awesome day!! Just can't say enough about our wonderful stay! Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of Paradise Nancy!! Maybe one day we can come back for another visit!!

We rented this condo [vacation rental] for a New Year's getaway with our three sons who are college and high school age. It was really nice to have the extra space and the balconies were fantastic. There were plenty of well appointed bathrooms and everything was very clean. We rented a car, which I recommend. We went to beaches on St. Thomas and took the car ferry to St. Johns. We always used the cooler from the condo, very convenient. Our vacation was extended when our flight home got cancelled and Nancy could not have been more accommodating. She allowed us to stay on for four extra nights making our predicament much more bearable. Too bad the airlines are not as interested in customer service. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and the pictures really show you what you will get.

There is nothing more that you could hope or wish for in this vacation rental. It is nicely appointed with all of the items that you need. The kitchen is well stocked with useful cooking utensils, if you like to cook. Just steps away you can dine at your choice of 2 restaurants right on the beach. The vacation rental was very clean and well maintained. Nancy has thought of everything!!! LOVE IT!!!
