Paradise Found at the Elysian

Bravo to the owners of our beachfront condo at the Elysian! The condo was spacious, clean and very affordable. I traveled with six young adults to attend a wedding at the nearby Ritz Carlton. Walking to the larger Ritz Carlton's beach (all beaches are open to the public on St. Thomas) was just a 2 minute affair. It was one of the best trips of my life largely due to our stay at this lovely condo. Waking up to see Caribbean blue from my balcony lifted me from the doldrums of the winter. The supporting staff were gracious and always helpful. There are 2 restaurants on the premises, both offering delicious fare. LOVED the *Z* cocktails at the poolside bar. Being on a tight budget, it was wonderful having a fully equipped kitchen to make a few easy meals in. In addition, the Elysian is very close to Red Hook, where we enjoyed several evenings out on the town. I hope to make visiting the Elysian a tradition in our family. My thanks to the owners, who have offered their home to we winter-weary travelers!
